DAAK Ltd T/A TechVision (“the Company”) warrants to the original purchaser of our waterproof televisions (“the products”) against material, component and workmanship defects for 2 years. The warranty is valid from the date of purchase and covers operational failure.
The warranty covers products installed in mainland UK.
Exclusions
The Company is only responsible for operational failure of the products. The Company shall not be liable for any damage to the products caused by third parties, negligence by the purchaser, intentional damage, improper storage, installation not carried out to the installation guide and by a person qualified to do so. The warranty does not cover general wear and tear, which may be caused by everyday use or damage resulting from mains power surges or lightning strikes.
The warranty applies to the operational failure of the products only and does not extend to any installation subsequently performed by a third party.
Remote controls and Power Supply Units are covered by a 12 month return to base warranty. The warranty does not include batteries.
Limitation of Warranty
Under no circumstances shall The Company be liable for consequential or economic loss or damage arising out of breach of any express or implied warranty. The customer’s rights under the Sale of Goods Act 1979 are hereby excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law.
The Company’s liability under this warranty shall never exceed the original purchase price less the cost of any interim service or repair expended during the warranty claim. In the event of a claim during the warranty period, the company, at it’s sole discretion, will repair or replace the product. Under no circumstances shall The Company be responsible for the removal of the product from the premises or any subsequent costs relating to the installation of the replaced product.

A full description must be included with the claim along with any supporting material.
The Company will take a maximum of 30 days to determine and fulfil its obligations under the warranty.
The purchaser shall provide ‘proof of purchase’. This must state date of purchase and that the purchaser is in fact the original purchaser of the product.
The purchaser’s failure to abide by the terms of this provision shall void any responsibility of the Company to cover the products under this warranty.
